How I miss those days!

When photographing children, black and white is still my favorite medium.

All of these pictures were shot in film– and scanned.

But I do continue to learn more and more about black and white conversion in digital photography. And I’m really beginning to see how well it works. I was a skeptic for awhile.

Sometimes I think it would be great to just do B&W … there are many professionals out there that do just that!

But then I realize that as much as I love it… there are so many times when color is just so stunning and appropriate.

But take a photo like this… color really just doesn’t seem to matter. The black & white captures the innocence in a such a sweet and beautiful way.
