David Jones – I knew this boy when he was 12 years old! To see him all grown now has been kinda wild, but a pleasure!
David graduated YESTERDAY from Gilbert High School and as you can kinda tell… he’s a bit of a musician! Drums, guitar, piano – he’s can do it all! I didn’t really have a chance to interview David – but he’s been highly involved with the Gilbert Band and music program. He’s been in Marching band all 4 years and has been on the drumeline and winterline throughout his time at Gilbert!
He’s recently had the chance to perform with Dark Sky Percussion, an indoor drumline based here in the Valley. His passion is music and I know he plans to continue to pursue music and the fall at ASU!
Congratulations David – I know your family is so proud of you! I wish the very best in your future!! Thank you for the opportunity to take your Senior photos in an amazing and creative environment!

Meet Marlee! Desert Vista High School Graduating Senior! Cute, Talented, and Fun – she’s a graduate who will make a difference out in the world! She’s described by her friends as outgoing, and easy to laugh with. We had a wonderful afternoon photographing her in a location she scouted out all on her own!
Marlee was very involved with the Desert Vista High School Band Program – and received NUMEROUS awards this years for demonstrating such commitment and leadership throughout her 4 years in the program!
She says that she can’t live without… music ( of course!) She’s really good, in her own words, “at music, being a leader, listening and helping friends with any problems they are having, and problem solving.”
Headed to ASU in the fall, tne things she looks forward to the most when she graduates is meeting new people, branching out of the Ahwatukee bubble and growing up a little! She says that graduating is the “start of real life.”
Her idea of a perfect day is ” a sunny day with good weather, out and about running around the town with friends and experiencing new places and adventures.” May you have MANY of these days to come!
I know that whatever Marlee sets her focus on, that she will be extremely successful! Bright and very bright is how I would describe her future. So Marlee – I wish you tons of success and happiness! You are a mover and a shaker – so go out and shake things up a bit! Thank you for the opportunity to capture such a special season in your life! All my best! XOXO – Pati

I loved this photo shoot! LeAnne and her family and I met at the Botanical Gardens the day after a rainstorm, and I’ve gotta say that the light and colors that day were so perfect for this graduating Corona del Sol Senior!
LeAnne is a very sweet girl who was fun, great to work with and obviously very beautiful. I love her outfits and she has some pretty amazing blue eyes! Fun way to spend an afternoon.
LeAnne describes herself as energetic, happy and determined! And something she is really good at is “finding the good in any situation.” What an answer! With that attitude, I know that the future is extremely bright for this young lady!
Her friends describe her as “goofy” and her idea of a perfect day is hiking with her friends. She’ll be attending ASU in the fall and really looks forward to not having to wake up at 4:30 in the morning for marching band practice! Although I know that all those early morning practices were worth it. One thing LeAnne says she loves to do most is “compete.” Marching band certainly gave her many opportunities to do just that!
Her dream job is to be an architect. I have no doubt that she’ll achieve this dream! When asked to describe somethings she can’t live without, she answers, “her puppies, Zoey and Luster.”
LeAnne, I had so much fun on our shoot! I wish you all the best in your future and know you will be successful at whatever you choose to do in this life! Thank you for the amazing privilege of photographing you during this special season of your life! All my best to you!!

I’d like to introduce Nathaniel Glenn – graduating senior form St Mary’s High School. Now to get to know Nathaniel, let’s just take a peek at the following answer he gave me. When asked How his friends would describe him. His answer was, ” A very, very humble guy who is so, so talented, and cool.” And in his own words, “Witty, Passionate and intellectual”… is a perfect way to describe him in 3 words.
Nathaniel is one of those young men that are just impressive all the way around. He is an amazing young man, great character and integrity, a talented musician, crazy smart – in fact, Nathaniel was one of this years National Merit Scholar finalists. And let me tell you, that is no easy task! The National Merit Scholarship Program is an academic competition for recognition and scholarships that began in 1955. High school students enter the National Merit Program by taking the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT)–a test which serves as an initial screen of more than 1.5 million entrants each year… 1.5 million WOW!
So as a finalsit, St Mary’s put Nathaniel’s name up on their marquee. I was so excited to hear that we would actually be shooting at his high school! So of course – we included the marquee. I loved that! SO cool!
Nathaniel is also funny – very quick witted and spiritually – he pretty exceptional. He will be attending Pontifical College Josephinum in Columbus Ohio – This college is actually a Roman Catholic seminary whose mission is to prepare men for the ordained priesthood. Another WOW! And I know that Nathaniel’s parents are so very proud of him!! I certainly would be!
The 3 things he loves to do the most… Eat Pray Love. Wait a minute– isn’t that a movie? I loved those answers Nathan!!
His dream job would be to be a Lead Singer and Keyboardist for an indie Rock band.
Something he can’t live without? His I-pod and music. When asked what he was really good at, I’ll quote his answer, “ Not dying (I have an 18 year streak) lol!
He says that after high school he can’t wait to… be completely self-sufficient. And the thing he will miss LEAST are awkward dances and that “delicious” cafeteria food!
His favorite high school memory? Beating his rival Brophy his senior year! He claims he was a “very essential fan!”
I know Nathaniel’s future is very bright and if he ever gets to lead a mass anywhere in Arizona – I will certainly make it a point to go! Thank you Nathaniel for the honor of capturing this season in your life! I wish you all of God’s blessings…always!
An accomplished musician, I loved this! Playin keyboard in the park…
Using the light rail has been part of Nathaniel’s commute each day from Ahwatukee! So we had to include of few photos!
unbelievable Pati! These pictures truly tell a story of who this young man is! Your photography is truly a gift from God.
