I had the opportunity to take some studio headshots of Katie Dyer, a Northern Arizona University student who is graduating this month! Katie was adorable.. not to mention gorgeous to boot! I really enjoyed her session.
We focused mainly on headshots – with a few portraits in between. We tried some dramatic backlight too.

Here’s a shot I did while playing with the lighting in my studio. I really like the shadows for a guy. It’s a little rough and masculine. Thanks Colin for sitting patiently while mom played a bit!

SO I had THE hardest time choosing an area rug… I literally looked at hundreds of them online. Finally, I came across one I that I thought would work!
Marley obviously agrees… it took him all of two minutes to get comfortable!
