My blog has needed some freshening up for a LONG time! So FINALLY…. I’ve made a few changes with the help of kimtown – a web designer that offers a ton of different services!
We are on the very last leg of this blog redesign. I just decided to go ahead and take my blog off maintenance mode – so I don’t lose those of you who regularly come to visit my blog! It’s been down for quite sometime and I appreciate your patience with me while we were making it prettier!
So – take a peek around. There are still a few final things to do… so we’re not %100 complete, but I’ll be back to blogging asap!! So please come back and visit often.

Meet Senior Kate Gallagher. Class of 2012 graduating Senior at Desert Vista High School in Ahwatukee. If I had to describe Kate in one word I’d say she is just plain FUN! I had such a blast with her on her senior shoot. She’s super outgoing, not at ALL shy in front of a camera and well…. she’s just really FUN!
Her passion is music and let me tell you, she is one talented musician! She’s been involved in the Desert Vista Thunder Band throughout her four years of high school! An accomplished piccolo player – Kate has had her share of impressive achievements. Just this year alone she auditioned for and made the Regional AND All state Bands. She made the Regional Orchestra for Piccolo. AND….she made the 2012 Honor Orchestra of America. So when you ask her to name 3 things she can’t live without – of course her first answer was Music! The other 2 answers were book and oxygen. lol – see, there’s the FUN part of Kate!
Her dream job is to becomae a Studio Musician – and I have no doubt that this is one dream she will have no problem accomplishing! She’ll miss Marching Band the most as she reflects on her experiences in high school. In fact, one of her favorite high school memories is her Marching Band winning the State Championship Title for the last 2 years!
After graduating, Kate will be heading North in the Fall. She is actually auditioning this Saturday, March 3rd, for the Northern Arizona University school of music program. I have a feeling she’ll have NO problems making it there too!
She also recently just got her very first job. She will be a Unit Counselor at Camp Willow Springs in Prescott AZ starting in May. Sounds really FUN!! haha!!
She LOVES reading – as you’ll see in our shoot! Her personal life motto is “Taking no chances means wasting your dreams!”
What I loved about getting to work with Kate was that she really does have this “Go For It” attitude. Even in our shoot, I could just see how she is not afraid to take risks in life. She laughs, she has fun and she’s passionate! She’s a HUGE Harry Potter fan too! I think she put a spell on me with her wand…
Anyway – so INTRODUCING MISS KATE Gallagher… she’s going place people! So watch out!
Kate – You’re beautiful inside and out! I LOVE that you Go for your Dreams! I wish you the VERY BEST in life. Thank you for the amazing honor of taking YOUR senior photos!
